Mission Statement
International Machine Chess Confederation (IMCC)
IMCC is dedicated to the organization and formalization of Machine Chess as the future of chess.
IMCC defines Machine Chess as chess played by arbitrary systems treated as black boxes, where only the legality of moves and the correctness of results matter, not the internal methods by which decisions are made.
IMCC imposes no restrictions on implementation, architecture, hardware, software, learning methods, external resources, or modes of operation.
IMCC guarantees non-disclosure of internal systems and methods, and evaluates participants exclusively on results and verifiable outcomes rather than on internal design choices.
IMCC recognizes titles, rankings, and results at the highest level of play, including the designation of a World Chess Champion, within the domain of Machine Chess.
